Dusan Perisic, MD, FACOG

Dr. Perisic has been appointed as the Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at JFK Hospital in Edison, NJ, and Hackensack Meridian System Central Region.
Dr. Dusan Perisic is a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon in New Jersey, USA. He is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Perisic was born in Belgrade, Serbia where he earned his medical degree at the Belgrade Medical School, University of Belgrade, Serbia. He then pursued one year of surgical internship followed by four years of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at the Institute for Gynecology and Obstetrics in Belgrade, Serbia. After coming to the United States, Dr. Perisic has done his clinical research at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Morristown Memorial Medical Center, Atlantic Health System, New Jersey. Dr. Perisic is designated as a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Perisic is an associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Georges Medical School.
Dr. Perisic expertise includes performing complex minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries for fibroids, advanced endometriosis, pelvic masses, chronic pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, and pelvic organ prolapse. He has performed thousands of complex gynecologic Da Vinci robotic procedures. He also performed numerous radical abdominal surgeries for various gynecologic indications and vaginal surgeries for pelvic organ prolapse. Both currently and in the past, he is actively involved in training and teaching Obstetrics and Gynecology residents and medical students in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Perisic has published numerous scientific articles and is currently involved in scientific research that involves minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Perisic has received numerous awards both during his residency training and after.
